Very clean campground with ocean/bay views and trails to the beach. The sites are gravel, but the hookups are in pristine condition. Stayed here on July 4th and could see the fireworks from our site. Very neat.
Great location off US 101 and just a few minutes from downtown Port Angeles. We used this campground as a base to visit Olympic National Park. The sites were fairly level and have fire rings. The restrooms and showers were very clean.
Our pull-thru site was very level with a nice grassy area and plenty of shade. We noticed the hookups were a bit funny, the sewer connection was on the left and the water and electric were on the right. Everything worked fine, it was just strange. The campground is very clean and quiet, no road noise at all. We'll be back.
We camped here overnight on the way to the Black Hills. It's very quiet, just off I-90, but far enough away that you don't hear any highway noise. The sites were fairly level and we didn't have any trouble with the hookups. The restrooms were clean, but a bit dated.
We stayed here several days while visiting Yellowstone NP. This seems like one of the closest private RV parks with full hookups to the NP. We loved it. The sites were level and very wide. We had no trouble with the hookups. There was a nice little pool and a spa. The spa was great after a long day in the NP. The campground itself is very quiet and seems to be right up on the mountains and the Shoshone River. The staff were very knowledgeable when we needed help finding groceries and an RV parts store. The other guests were friendly too. It would be a perfect "10", except all of the sites are gravel. My guess is it's too difficult to grow any grass is such a dry climate without tons of sprinklers, so everything is gravel and the area is a bit dusty.
We've stayed overnight at this campground twice in the past month on our way to other places. It was quiet and great for resting. The pull-thru sites in the front row of the park are great for late arrivals, we had no trouble quickly hooking up in the dark. Also, it has a fenced dog play yard, love that. We noticed it's close to Amish country, so we may check that out next time we pass through.
The staff were nice at check-in. The campground is pretty close to I-94, but you can't hear any highway noise, so it's very quiet. As mentioned before, things are a bit muddy when it has rained. The sites were a bit narrow, but grassy and well shaded/private with trees and shrubs. The sites were also very level and we had no problems with the hookups. If we pass through Bismarck again, we'll camp here.
We stayed at this campground for several days while visiting the Black Hills. I loved this facility and the people who work there are great. They often stopped by to chat. A beautiful little stream runs through the campground and some of the sites back up to it. Most of the sites are grassy and well shaded. The office/camp store is well stocked and they have a little lunch counter. It's also close to off-road trails. At night, you can clearly see the stars, smell the clean pine trees and hear the stream bubbling. But some of the guests that seemed like "regulars" were a bit rude and disregarded the rules and the comfort of their neighbors. Some were so loud at night after quiet hours that my husband had to get out of bed to ask them to quiet down. Other adult guests and their children walked/ran/played games through other's occupied sites. I saw clotheslines hanging from trees and very small unsupervised children driving ATVs around the campground. Another family failed to keep their dogs well-leashed, so their dog broke loose and attacked one of my dogs as we walked to the dog walk area. Everyone's okay, but it was very scary. It's so lovely there, I'd like to stay again, but I'm concerned that the rude guests could be a normal thing.
We always stay in this campground when we are in Lancaster County, PA. The staff are very friendly and will always try to put us in our favorite site. It's quiet and surrounded by farm land with lots of large shade trees. During the weekends, I've noticed Amish neighbors come by selling fruit, pies and other homemade goodies. It's bicycling distance to shops and restaurants.
We always camp here when we are in the Outer Banks. The ocean front sites are big enough that we can back-in our 30' motorhome and still have room for our 10' motorcycle trailer. It's great to go to sleep at night and hear the waves crashing on the dune. There is a fenced dog play yard, my dogs love it. The store is well-stocked and the staff are very nice. We've had many nice chats with the manager. The only problem I've noticed is that sometimes the sites have a bit of debris (cigarette butts or can tabs) from the previous occupant, but the sites are sandy, so it can be difficult for the camp staff to get all of it cleaned up.
We stay here every time we visit the Keys. It's an easy motorcycle or taxi ride into downtown Key West. Most of the sites seem to have shady palm trees and the pool is really nice and clean. The front desk staff is helpful too. My only complaint is the chickens next door, they're a great alarm clock. Chickens seem to roam free all over Key West and Stock Island, so I'm not sure there is much the management can do.
We stayed overnight at this park. The staff were very nice and everything seemed well-kept. It's surrounded by woods, so it's very quiet and nice for evening walks. The campground was also a great launching point for visiting Big Cypress and the Everglades the next day.
We've stayed here a couple of times overnight on our way to somewhere else. It's right off I-95 and walking distance to restaurants and truck stops. The pull-thru sites are convenient, but once we had a bit of trouble with the sewer connection being too far away, so we had to connect our spare sewer hose to the main hose.
We stayed overnight at this campground. It's right off I-95 and the pull-thru sites were convenient. The staff was pretty friendly too. You can definitely hear the highway noise, but that's not unexpected.
